I'm sorry about your mother.. I get how you're feeling. My mother is kind of like that too, only the opposite. She doesn't let me go out with my friends much, I usually can only go out when she's out of town. Luckily, she tends to go out of town quite a bit over the summer.  But hey, you're nearly 18, you'll be free in no time! =]

I think true love is real but its like the hardest thing to find but is worth waiting for. well thats what i hope anyway.
Guys have a wierd habit of all going after like the same girl  so ino how you feel.
but guys that just like you because your 'hot' or watever suck its the ones that actaully wanna talk to you and make you smile are amazing. The ones that like you that much are always shy about talking to you because being turned down by some one special is rubbish compared to the local pretty girl turning you down.
That was just a big rant^ prob made no sence lol

I think true love is real and that there's someone out there for everyone. Some people just have an easier time finding the person they are meant to be with. Then there are others of us who have the hardest time finding our true loves. Try not to be discouraged and don't give up the search. Good luck in finding your true love!

I agree But where im from [idaho] it really is about being blond, fat, and dressing "frumpy." Unfortunatly for me, im brown, skinny, a brunette,and i enjoy dressing up every single day. So im pretty much considerd ugly, except to minorities. But when i go to other places people act like im some beautiful person, which, not to be concited, i know i am. But no matter what people say, i always stay true to myself, im proud of my heritage, and im not going to be "white-washed" Im not going to gain weight to get more attention, and im sure as hell am NOT going blond, and/or dress frumpy. I think its great that people like yourself have realized how shallow people have been latley. Just dont let them tear you down, stay true to yourself. and the reason why you havent been in a relationship in three years, is probably because you wont settle for less, which isnt a bad thing. i havent been in a relationship in a while for that reason...
